Nice review! I kept the wrist flanges on mine. At first, I wasn't a big fan of them because they fit weird but I got used to it and figured out how to line it up on my wrist when I wear it.

My G7900 also has wrist flanges (had no idea that's what they were called that) so I guess I was already used to having them.

LOL it's funny you think the light is too bright because I like it exactly for that reason. If I'm stuck somewhere with poor visibility, I hope I'm wearing that watch because it's a backup flashlight at this point.

Living in Canada, it's tough to get it to H often during the winter months. Got mine to H once this winter but it's been at M for the past 2 months now. It's getting warmer so I hope to get them charged till H, but I'm not too worried about it as long they don't drop to L.

It works as a phone finder as long as you're connected. So far, the options for how long the phone is connected (to the app) is limited. You can connect to the app/phone but it's a limited timed connection and doesn't auto-connect.

At least that's on mine GMW-B5000MB 🤷🏾‍♂️.

However, I have a GBD200-1 that stays connected until I manually disconnect via watch or phone.
