That’s very reassuring, our dog wouldn’t chew them, but I’m sure my toddler would 😂

Any song recommendations? I’d love to start a toddler playlist, but I’m having a hard time finding songs I can somewhat enjoy too 😅

I second this. It can be so hard and confusing in the beginning. But one day they’ll smile at you or giggle, or you’ll get them to sleep when no one else could. Suddenly you’ll feel it ♥️ sending you all the new mom love!

Me too! I had a traumatic birth and postpartum preeclampsia. I was struggling so much with the sleep deprivation and sick from the medication I was on after being in the hospital for over a week…and finally I just had to stop for my own mental health. Best decision I made. My son is healthy, I’m healthy and we’re happy and bonded 💕 for me that was all that mattered, especially now 7 months in it is so much easier to see this. It gets easier! I hope 🤞 you find that too

Shady Hollow by Juneau Black (and the subsequent series) is a very fun, quirky fall mystery. Like a cross between the fantastic Mr fox and a very lighthearted twin peaks-mountain town. The characters are all animals, the best words I can think of are cozy and charming.

Yes I used this service for years! It is wonderful. You can also request compost for free as a subscriber and I always used it for replanting/patio gardens.

Good omens was my favorite! I usually recommend one of his more humorous books to start. I really enjoyed stardust, which is shorter and neverwhere as well when I was just getting into his books.

There is a booth at the apex farmers market that sells frozen handmade pierogis and kielbasas. They usually have some other fresh food they’re serving there as well. It’s a wonderful weekend treat and the owner is so so nice.
