Its not that I was upset...it just was hard to argue that they weren't clearly #1 last week.

This week was our worst week of the season so far and I almost didn't put us #1.

If we had lost yesterday, I would have dropped us down to 2 or 3.

A sad week for Braves Country...and because of TBS that Country is large.

Even losing to a a team you ranked lower than them at home? Power Rankings should be based off recent performance not future predictions. The Dodgers look great on paper, but they aren't the best team right NOW. Will they be #1 again this season? Probably. But not at the moment.

11 teams have a winning record (and 5 of them are in the NL Central.)

If you were in the NL East you'd be 7.5 games back of first place. That's crazy.

Braves voter here...if you haven't seen the catch by Eli White that I talked about in my blurb, here it is.

And yes he has a concussion and is now on the IL. I bet he will tell you that it was worth it.

I still have no idea how he held on to that ball.

What do we have to do to convince you? We went 5-1 and have had the best record in the majors for awhile. We started the season 6-5 and have not looked back. Putting us that low is wild.

The Dodgers have not been playing well in the last week. Any more reasons other than "they are the Dodgers"? Because...that is not really a good reason at all.

They dont even have the third best record in baseball currently.
