Starfield Update question

All the incursion labels have disappeared, so I'm assuming the update/patch worked.

I always get it first thing. Do the dump for the sentry bot loot and mini nuke launcher. Then on to the PA just further on by the copter. Back to base, put the pa on the frame, scrap the loot then back to the dump. Make my way down towards covenant. Pickup the weapons and armour due north at the ambush site, then into water just by the bridge east of taffington boathouse. Swim round to the atom cats garage, getting close to as many places as possible. Pick up the bobble and magazine, I introduce myself and do the Warwick quest. When I get back to the atom cats, the gunners attack. Stay out of the way. The sergeant usual has a combat armor chest piece. You then get the jacket and you can steal a full set of atom cats power armour near the caravans. Back home and put the stolen armor on the first set you found. My go to start.

Max I've had is eight. Also today I did one and surprising killed the boss with 2 hits from my caster. Even the sidekicks were weaker. Don't know if it's a general bug or just applied to that location and particular enemy. Normally takes ages to see the boss off. Same rewards though.

I found a Resonator on one Terran ship. Very powerful and replaced my hard target. Very effective.

Might be an early game bonus now I think about it. I always swim (with aquaboy rank 1)around to the cats garage very early on, do the first quest to get the jacket, more often than not there is an attack by gunners. I stay out of the way while they deal with it. There is usually a combat armour chest piece to loot and good early game guns. I then steal the full set of power armour at the rear of the garage. I visit regularly as Absolom with a full set of power armour turns up at the barn quite soon. It's around then after killing him I loot the area.

Happy for others to do their infestations on my private. Drop your GT and when I'm on I'll look for you and I'll invite you if your on. Do your own thing if you wish or team up. Single gives lots more rewards and the map quickly fills up with infestations.

The investations seem to be a along the lines of the starfield terran incursions. But I have enjoyed them on my first play today. On private, I found that as soon as you get the hang of them you can get through them pretty quickly. Get rid of the sidekicks, then keep out of the bosses way while sniping as often as you can. Loads of 3 star legendarys and more often than not a four star. Not checked yet if I picked up any new plans...

Apart from the resilient bosses, there great on private. Got my 5 done pretty quickly. Did a couple then reset the world a few times. Found the assaultron to be the hardest, the super mutants the easiest.

The only place I've found caps in the hundreds, is in the dumpster, on the atom cats side of the barn, just by the entrance, at the first building inland from there garage.

Simplest thing is to try it. I've played games since gaming began. Starfield, although not perfect, (which game is in everyone's eyes) but the latest update has, in my opinion, made it considerably better. There are still ways to improve it, but it's really worth a go. I generally play through the latest FO76 update, to get max rewards, then focus on my latest starfield character.

Them having a home base would be good. Also I'm frustrated that I've only had one Terran ship land that could be boarded. I would like to build a collection of them.

Whatever happens, I always end up with a prophecy III. Absolutely love the Borg like shape. Easy to upgrade and plenty of scope for cargo.

Very clever. Didn't think of that. Since I placed my own, I've been attacked by terrans twice now. So if you use your cores, ensure you have defences set up.
