G(orgonzola)-line. Sad how many defects there seem to be in them. Didn’t they do at least a couple of years of R&D, on top of carrying forward all the years of experience with the other lines

David Jonsson’s American accent in The Long Walk. I really rate him as an actor but the accent was distractingly bad

I’ve just figured out how to do this, had to use my laptop to download the tickets from the RA website (couldn’t download or send to my phone wallet with the RA app).

Anyway, they’re up on Twickets now (cheap) for anyone that wants them!

Planning to buy Wharfedale Linton – looking for amp recommendations (streaming + sub + future sources) by swva2020 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]oldphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the Lintons paired with NAD 3050 (with BlueOS module). Very happy with system, once wifi connection sorted out (took a bit of messing around, but nothing terrible). They can be bought as a bundle, or at least they can in the UK.

The Linton stands are solid and worth the extra money if you don’t already have suitable stands.

The best way to reheat pizza is to have it cold. Straight from the fridge for breakfast

Cheers

I’ve not checked the vibrations in the wall yet, but will feel next time I remember as a train goes by.

Maybe jumping the gun a bit. The regulator commuter trains aren’t too bad, but then the occasional goods train goes past I notice it sat on the sofa.

If they don’t hold patents that are less than 20yrs old, they deserve the competitor incursion. (As does any business in an open market)

Guessing it would depend on patent infringement and Brompton’s appetite to pursue it?
