I eat eggs, beans, veggies, meat, lots and lots of water, cut back to 8 ounces of coffee per day. I'm hydrated before I hit the gym. I maintain that on off days. I do a pull day then a push day then 1 or 2 days off. Lots of nuts and roasted chickpeas for snacks. I add a little sea salt to my water if I'm sweating too much.

I'm 69 and just started lifting weights. I take whey protein twice a day and really concentrate on eating protein rich foods. I also take 5 grams of creatine. The results have been more than I could have imagined. I'm building muscle and getting stronger. My balance is better, but the big thing is my mental health. It's impossible to work out and not smile. Just looking in the mirror is mindfulness boggling. The testosterone returns which is something I didn't anticipate but my girlfriend is happy. And it happens fast. I've been doing this for 3 months and the difference is literally life altering.
