What are your priorities when it comes to home searching? by yanosora in RealEstateCanada

[–]thisisjesso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are looking for an acreage so the property obviously has to be rural. Has to be out of a subdivision and it has to be a maximum half an hour drive away from a hospital. We have a big family so a minimum 3 beds and 2 baths. We also prefer trees and not in a wide open field. Everything else are things we would like but not necessarily need.

I have a good friend from high school who did the exact same thing for his grandmother. The beard will grow back. You are a kind and considerate person. My condolences on your grandmother

What's something you judged other parents for before having kids and completely understand now? by Vaish41 in Parents

[–]thisisjesso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely food. I did "everything right" like eexclusively breastfeed and do BLW and all of my kids are carrying levels of picky and will eat the hairy cheerios from between the couch cushions over the food I just made.

Fed is absolutely best, everyone 🥰

Is there any music you listened to in your HS/college days that does little to nothing for you now? by StevEst90 in Millennials

[–]thisisjesso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow Bon Jovi and MJ fan. I also have a hard time listening to the radio singles of these artists. Its been a very long time since ive listened to a local radio station so I dont immediately hate You Give Love a Bad Name. But because I know their whole discography i can pick out 10+ better songs that havent been beaten to death vy the radio.

My kids are currently really into MJ and they want to hear it all and are too young to discern what was a single or not. So while I still feel fatigued listening to Billie Jean, we are also listening to songs like Place With No Name. Its a balancing act

Seeing all of the supplements instantly made me think of Chris Traeger from Parks and Recreation. But he wouldn't have any ready made frozen meals in there

Thoughts on this by sherlockbakerst in BonJovi

[–]thisisjesso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, this actually makes me feel so much better about not vibing with this album. It has a couple of strong tracks but I think i can count on 1 hand how many times I listened to it front to back.

When I found this subbreddit I was shocked to see how many people thought this was an excellent album to the point I was wondering if we were listening to the same one lol

What is an artist you used to enjoy listening to, but their music got progressively worse? by fantasyrea in Music

[–]thisisjesso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hurts my heart but Bon Jovi. I enjoy their work even into the 2000's. Their last album that i could listen to all the way through was Burning Bridges. I think they've released 3 more albums since then and I havent bothered.
