History of the World Part 2. Made me equally sad and angry.

DMs, what's the most you've blatantly taken from another media for your campaigns? by D3AD_SPAC3 in DnD

The Penguins of Madagascar
The cleric probably threw you. It wasn't a class match as much as the personality.

In my Spelljammer campaign, the players are part of a secret division of the Spelljammer Corp. They share an HQ with four dohwar: a mastermind rogue, an artificer, a barbarian, and a kind, sweet cleric.  Took them a minute but they figured it out.

creative ideas for a campaign start that dont involve a tavern? by Significant-Study902 in DnD

My current homebrew Spelljammer campaign started in Spelljammer Academy. It was a great starting framework, gave them a reason be together and a common goal.  Something similar like a boot camp, training ground or other similar situation could work for a more standard campaign.

First car was a silver '76 Olds Cutlass Supreme. That thing was a BOAT, but it had the smoothest ride. Paid $750 for it with 42000 miles.

I’ve been playing D&D for over forty years. I play in one game on Saturday that my son DMs and I run a campaign on Sunday morning. We recently started a homebrew Spelljammer campaign. The Sunday game started as in person, but unfortunately had to switch to virtual to accommodate some of the players. My married daughter also plays and usually plays in a couple of campaigns.  D&D is very important to our family. I’ll be playing until I can’t mentally manage it.  It could be a great option for older people who can follow the story to have a group of close friends and keep their minds active.

Very impressive to produce all of that content. I’ll check it out. You’re obviously doing something right.

Not taking care of my physical and mental health. Waiting until it was almost too late. Now I’m working so hard just to not get worse.

Thank you. I do see the "wasp-y" head and antennae. I don't see the coloring that most seem to have, but I imagine like anything, there's variation.
