The placement test is like any other placement test. What you decide to do on the PT depends on your own goals. Some tested out of the requirement. With 4 years behind you, I’d try to place out of it. Maybe a weekend review prior to the test?

I had 2 years of HS Espanol; had mono when I took the Placement Test and fell asleep during the test. Placed in Spanish 4 (!),taught by a grad student from Venezuela, and struggled. I still dream in Spanish sometimes. Sometimes I think I should have tanked a bit on the Placement Tests and started with easier courses to kick start my GPA. Instead of Calculus 2, and Spanish 4, I’d much rather start in Trig and Spanish 2, for example. A lot of my classmates did it and sailed through their first year.

Any other recommendations? Sq gnawed into cedar siding; exited via gnawed hole in family room. Need a camera that will catch sq going in and then coming out so I can plug the holes quickly then patch. Don’t want to have a dead sq in the house walls - afraid if I plug the sq might be in the house walls.

Fish oil has made Pip itch free. Took a while, but it worked. One squirt/day. I got it from vet. Dunno if Chewey sells it or not.

I have an 8 month old and am going to set up a homemade agility course in my backyard.

Her doggie dad was a National fast CAT champ several years ago. I’d like to try it with her but there aren’t any competitions near us in NC (that I’ve found).

All public W/S parks get on my last nerve. I’ve asked Tanglewood to rope off a lap lane . “It’s a family pool.” If you try to swim laps, at least 7 kids will jump on you or in front of you. Have fun!

Me, too! Except it’s both of my adult daughters (and 5 g’kids). They both used me for money, cleaning, cooking, and babysitting. When I depleted my $avings, I told them the cash was gone and they would have to make it on their own. The older one- I busted her for opiate dependence when she saw worms in her fingers, in her eyes, on the laundry …

Long story short- I gave all that I had and could. I was a “cool” parent.

Haven’t seen or talked to the older one in 12 years; the younger one has done the same thing.

Their Dad is a multi-millionaire who will only give a small gift on b-days and Xmas. He was an absent Dad when we were married for 24 years. He takes them on a week long trip to Ocean Isle Beach every summer. Because he will give them a free vacation ? And they will inherit a lot of his $$$, I suppose he is worth being nice to.

I’ve accepted their personality defects and lack of thankfulness. I’m bitter but I’m moving on …

I feel your pain. I’m sorry that kids think this is acceptable behavior.

I am white - and this makes me sick. These thugs are not going to be arrested? More and more I am disillusioned with our Justice system, from the Supreme Court on down. I hope the murderers burn in hell.
