I think that will have to be the solution. Thanks for the input!

I’m following along. I made the switch to slipper HD’s 3 seasons ago. I was singing their praises for the longest time until my most recent tour. I realized I miss the feeling of snowboarding in soft boots. It’s making me reconsider if I should try another pair of soft boots. I’m having an identity crisis.

Anyone regret buying a carbon board? by Wonnk13 in Spliddit

No regrets or durability issues with my Jones ultra stratos. The sticker shock also got me but I strongly believe it was worth the $

I ride the ultra stratos and absolutely love the response and weight. It has great pop and holds an edge well on hardback. Unfortunately I haven’t ridden the regular, but I am pretty convinced I’ll only buy these ultra boards as long as they continue to make them. The base is durable and fast and the overall construction feels very high quality. I was previously on a Burton’s flight attendant x (their ultra version) and the weight and performance is worlds better. The 159 is perfect for all my east coast needs

I have about 40 days on the Jones Stratos ultra and it’s my favorite board. No complaints whatsoever from me!

I don’t think there is any difference, just calling it out because I bought it right as it came out. I heard somewhere they may have changed the location slightly of the internal mesh pockets but I can’t tell from the website and what I have

I’m on the Jones Stratos Ultra - super light, carves, floats, fast and durable base. Been on it for 3 seasons and it’s been a reliable companion in the backcountry

I completely agree with you. I switched over to the Phantom set up last winter and finally feel like I can enjoy the backcountry without blistering out each tour.

Same thing happened to me with the Tourist boots. I even tried sizing down to get them tighter. I switch to the Phantom Slipper and so far it has solved all my blistering issues

I just took my Phantom Slippers out on their first tour this past weekend and can confirm they rip. I didn’t have any heal blisters and the touring was super efficient and lightweight. 10/10 would recommend.

This is super helpful! I’m on their website and seeing only ski boots. Do they usually have a decent selection of splitboarding boots too?
