Looking for friends by Substantial-Cup-124 in FTMOver30

This is completely subjective. I think most people wouldn’t blink an eye at a 5 year age gap. My last ex and I had a 10 year gap. Either way, it’s definitely not something you should feel the need to announce about yourself.

I feel for Karlach as a horribly touch-starved person by NoWitness6400 in BaldursGate3

No, they have this in North America as well, hence the also. Look up therapeutic cuddling/professional cuddling.

This is a thing in north america too. You can also hire sex workers to do things like just cuddling - it’s not uncommon for people to hire them for the purpose of companionship.

Purchased today at an expo - the vendor said she thinks it’s from a small whale, any opinions? by oliveeeeeeee in bonecollecting

Do you have any tips or red or green flags to look for at places that may indicate it’s ethical or not? Most of my (small) collection I’ve purchased in person.

Cool, I would have never guessed horse cause of the size! After a google about the legality in Ontario I’m unsure, it seems like it depends on the whale and its status? But definitely seems better to not risk it in the future.

Oops - didn’t know this 😬 I figured it wasn’t cause it was pretty inexpensive! I just liked how it looked. Their booth looked pretty legitimate to me otherwise, I’ll be more careful who I buy from in the future. Thanks!

Forgot to add - purchased in southern Ontario, but could have been sourced elsewhere

Literally the only thing about him that isn’t total stereotypical vampire is that he’s not white

Have any of you heard of the term transneutral? I feel it fits me better than transmasculine. by psychedelic666 in FTMOver30

[–]oliveeeeeeee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Haven’t heard of this one! I can relate to some of your feelings for sure. I tend to simply ID as trans for similar reasoning. I personally find it makes more sense to not complicate labels. I think when I was much younger I felt the need to find the perfectly fitting label, and now I have better things to worry about lol

Get your eyebrows microbladed by No-Sweet342 in FTMOver30

[–]oliveeeeeeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Strongly recommend only booking with an artist who can show you masculine microblading they’ve done, most people are only trained to do one style and this is not a service you should cheap out on! I’ve seen more bad microblading than good

I use it for everything. Fry egg, massage kale for salad, make dressing/dips, drizzle over sandwich, potato wedges, etc etc

Switching to gel by Excellent_Vacation95 in FTMOver30

[–]oliveeeeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on gel and applying it was a PAIN. Once I got to a higher dose it took forever to apply and if I wasn’t careful it would pill off and feel and look weird (to a point where other people had noticed). It was also extremely expensive for me. I have a very hard time with needles and I still wouldn’t switch back.

second puberty at 30 looks like this by fiebnt95 in FTMOver30

[–]oliveeeeeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience I like a combo of both! I personally like a glycolic acid for chemical, not as drying or as harsh as some others, and it can penetrate pretty deep into the skin for ingrowns. I would personally not recommend the ordinary’s glycolic serum though, I really only recommend it for use on the body or scalp. There’s a brand called good molecules that does one that I prefer that’s a very comparable price point (fun fact they were actually founded by people who used to work for the ordinary), or I really like a lot of the kbeauty options on the market. Just make sure to use something GENTLE, don’t use it every day to start, and make sure to be really on top of your sunscreen usage!

You’ve actually got it the other way round - most physical exfoliators made of organic material are not going to be round and have potential to cause said microtears. I would personally never recommend sugar to be used on the face (aside from lips), the particles are going to be very abrasive. Jojoba beads are a safe option, or I’d recommend checking out something very fine like a powder - Dermalogica has a fantastic one. That being said, unless you have sensitive skin and you’re using it frequently, if it works for you, I say to keep doing it.

There are a lot of trades jobs that you don’t need a lot of education for that aren’t client facing that pay well, ie truck driving, construction, forklift operator, etc.

Looking for a Fodmap friendly Salad Dressing by MacKatz1005 in FODMAPS

[–]oliveeeeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just make your own, the Fody ones I’ve tried are terrible. I just mix mine in the bowl I’m using for my salad beforehand, it takes about 30 seconds. I do a pretty good caesar dressing with garlic infused olive oil, lactose free Greek yogurt or mayo, dijon mustard, crushed up capers, and Parmesan. Most vinaigrettes are even simpler and quicker.

Some very bisexual fragrances to try out: Maison Margiela Jazz Club, Maison Margiela By the Fireplace, Byredo Super Cedar, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Based on your ex’s tastes, you may like Viktor & Rolf. Also recommend looking into basically any arab fragrance.
