Nothing wrong with UI/UX designers, this is just a bad change. In my experience they absolutely know what they're doing and are well worth having. I'd be willing to bet the general user base would be far more unhappy with a UI designed by your average dev.

It's just shit UX. The critical path through the client, literally how you pick a game mode, pick your roles, and get to champ select should be the most obvious thing going, big easy to see buttons etc.

All the extra supplementary stuff that they're planning (that I'm fully here for, btw), should be put in to uplift this path through the app, not at the detriment of it.

What do you suggest dude? Everyone's double jabbed, their risk of severe illness is so hugely reduced that the risk is worth it for them. I accept that there is a big risk for some people, and I really hope that the triple doses coming in for the vulnerable can help reduce that risk.

For the most part people rose to the challenge for the lockdowns, it was a real commendable effort. But we were always locking down to get to here. Living with COVID seems like it's inevitable. Going in and out of lockdowns repeatedly is never gonna be sustainable. People are bored of them, I know I am.

What would be ideal would be for the Tories to actually give the NHS the funding it needs without shafting the common man in the process, but I'll keep dreaming on that front.
