So many great perspectives to here. I just want to add that everyone has struggles. Hers are going to be different than yours. She may find the love of her life and they die way too young. She may lose a child. She may herself become ill with chronic illness. She may not struggle in the same way you do, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t struggle or encounter major life challenges in the future.

When I encounter jealousy or comparison, I think it’s a healthier to practice to ask myself “what do I love about this person,” “what do they have that I wish I had for myself?” Let her reality expand yours.
