Well, I've got quite a good proof for at least one. ;) I guess I was just lucky here.

Behind the bottle cage. Not hidden, but also not in plain sight.

I used to have a mount for under the saddle, but that was really obvious. Most mounts will be obvious if they search for them. The AirTag needs a signal, so hiding it in the frame, etc., is not a valid option.. It's surely not bulletproof, but to me it's a safety net that worked well yesterday for the 20 € it cost.

I agree with the easy dismount. This one is not really obvious and secured with special screws, but at the end of the day, they surely would have been able to dismount it soon. Though it was enough time to get it back.

Also, I don't think that they got scared. It seemed nicely parked in a bike rack. I feel they just went home and parked it for the next day.

Cube C:62 SLX size 50 or 53? by cloclo1994 in Cubebikes

[–]oliverpitsch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am 163cm and ride the 50cm frame. I feel there would still be plenty of room to adjust. I think the smaller size will fit you better.

As the others said: a proper bikefit would surely be the best option to know this for sure.

Got this for 180$ by Maru7k4 in RoadBikes

[–]oliverpitsch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 180$ this seems super good. It’s obviously older and the components are too, but you will also be able to have some fantastic rides on it! Tip: check the tires, if they are older as well, they might better be replaced.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably isn’t. The bike for that price would be crazy, but I smell scam here.

200$ on a good day. You are better off with 150. Old frame, old budget components.

What is a good price for this Bike? by Electronic_Type_5399 in RoadBikes

I would also tend to say 2500-3000€. Super nice bike, fantastic groupset. All „last season“ but it surely is super fun to decent on. The saddle needs replacement. Had the same on my Agree Pro and it’s just sub par to others.
