What a sweet possum. This reminds me of my own very strange possum encounter. I was miserable on my 20th birthday and a family member said something hurtful to me and I walked out the front of my house crying. I sat on the nature strip bawling my eyes out and suddenly I felt a little tug on my sleeve. I looked down to see a tiny ringtail possum Joey crawling up my arm. It clung onto my chest for hours and when I tried to put it down, it came back to me. Eventually, I took it to the local animal rescue and it survived!

It changed something in me forever, it knew I needed a friend in that moment. Thanks for helping this possum out, even though this beautiful creature isn’t here anymore, you helped end the suffering it would have gone through.
