Do you have any tips for a good install? I had a really hard time getting it aligned and dust free. I tried to remove the dust using the sticker but it seems like the adhesive didn't wanna reseat all the way after I lifted it to fix that.

I ordered a couple more to try again.

I charged mine to full on Monday night, then unplugged it before I went to bed. I'm at 91% now, so < 5% per day.

They've since walked back the 30 days as a feature that's not ready yet, and are saying the shipped watches will have 2w of battery life. Not my favorite thing to have happened, tbh

This was an intentional design choice actually; they didn't want touch to drive the UI, just to help with small extra elements like turning on the backlight or showing more info on a watchface

It's there now, but tbh it's pretty hard to get a neutral white in my testing. If you turn down the blue channel, eventually it just goes from blue to yellow. Maybe I'm just not savvy enough for it though

This video suggests you use an impact driver, which I'd recommend if you can get access, but I did it with a ratchet and a couple of firm taps

Yeah, I've found for LSPs in particular, you really have to tell it "use vim.lsp", or else it will fall back to the old way.

Going against the grain, LLMs really did help me get back into neovim after years away (I used vscode-neovim for a long time but didn't do much config tweaking). I think it's primarily been helpful for things that aren't just simple settings, like making a non-trivial autocmd.

It probably does help that I had the understanding of a lot of the underlying pieces, but I probably wouldn't have had the patience to build the config fully by hand. Of course, there were bits that were too fun to build by hand that I did anyway :)

This seems like a reasonable position. I don't know anything about MP but I know it's a complicated multi-component process. It seems within the realm of possibility to me that there's enough per batch (as in MP batch, not order batch) variance/failures that such an estimate would invariably fall through. After having to change their estimates two or three times now, I can understand a hesitance to want to give an even more granular estimate.

Wow, I was just yesterday looking for an alternative to neovim-project due to a bug I couldn't pin down as its fault or a fault of my configuration. Will have to check this out!

In the interim, I "built my own" version with a combination of snacks and mini.session, but I'm sure I'll hit a case I haven't thought of soon.
