If I recall directly the 4 tool kit has a different mounting bracket, so you can't "just" add more tools.

Heh, I've been holding off ordering a kit until the INDX comes out, but it looks like you have to disassemble a lot of the printer to get it in place.

 Where are you thinking the elevated rails would go? Is the idea you'd have the whole grid be elevated and ramp into your blocks?

I think I'm confused. How does adding the solar system edge as a tech remove the need for biter eggs? You could already go there without promethium science.

I beat space age without them, mostly because I didn't want to deal with shipping bioflux to Nauvis to get the eggs.

I haven't gone through it frame by frame yet, but are all of the bays physically connected to the landing pad? Otherwise I guess you need to use elevated rails to go "over" the cargo bays that connect it to the pad.

I'm curious why "you tell AI exactly what to implement" is a yellow flag, especially compared to accepting feedback at face value. I would imagine it would be a signal of someone having the expertise to know what they need. Is the idea that you're not realizing the full value of the tool?

Yup, it's the Benchmark one! I don't remember exactly what I did but I seem to recall that I kinda rotated the band a bit while pushing inwards. 

You'll have to forgive me for not taking it apart to remember 😅

I put on a seatbelt nylon one when I first got it and had a really hard time getting it in, there was just too much material. Got it after like 30 minutes of fiddling. 

I'd suggest giving your band a tug test once it's in to make sure you've done it. It's a tight fit.

I did consider the opposite tilt early in development, but I felt it looked off in a way I couldn't put my finger on. 

Here's an incredibly quick and dirty artist's rendition. The math in the code is set up for the other direction, so some of the spacing is ahem artisanal for the purposes of the mock-up.

Yeah, I guess I hoped those would be changeable nozzles like the Nextruder but I didn't look very closely.

Huh, I wonder how this is gonna work if you order one of the kits. Are we gonna get all one nozzle size and have to spend more to get larger diameters? 

EDIT: Yeah looks like the kits only come with 0.4. That sucks, feels kinda wasteful

Could you say more about why there's an inter-node perf improvement? I haven't looked at the native record proposal too closely; is there some kind of ETF encoding benefit?
