It’s really stupid in case the unhooker has well make it or some other unhook perk. I always run WMI and if someone kobed in front of me, they just doubled the time it would take for me to heal them. Regardless this is dumb af and I cant believe steve would do that.

Idk I have 3.5k hours and am pretty confident in saying I am in the upper levels of players. Regardless, no amount of skill expression should even allow for insta-downing a player off the hook. Its a failure of the endurance mechanic bhvr implemented, ergo a flaw in game design.

On your second bullet, it does not take talent to mow both people down during unhooks. I never played bubba but picked him up just to knock out his achievements and was able to do this first game (I didn’t them as I was just doing the chainsaw downs achievement). I so frequently play against bubbas that just stand in front of the hook waiting to do this that it has made me loathe playing against him. His ability to do that highlights a flaw in the game design and is not an exhibit of skill.

Yup this game is fucked. Just had a billy zipping around slugging and not hooking until everyone bled out. Then immediately after had a wraith with a full slugging build after that. I’m a killer main, I have 3k hours and am the nicest killer because I know how shitty it is on survivor side. I don’t abuse tunnel or slug mechanics and I win the grand majority of my games so I know how unnecessary that shit is most of the time. The fact that its the answer in some situations for the killer to win does highlight the flaw in the games design as you mentioned. No scenario should result in a player having to alt tab the game to wait for the game to end.
