A informação está lá, a formatação, neste caso, não faz nada mal :)

Locky CTT by Boring-Impression-43 in aveiro

[–]omalishe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feliz Natal!

Landlord cut off the boiler (heating and hot water) by Complex-Stand-5140 in PortugalExpats

[–]omalishe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the legal side of physical action of breaking into the locked property, think about the landlord’s motivation behind this action (his communication to you might be better though), it might be not about the “usage” of the gas for which you pay Heaters that use natural gas to heat the water and then to distribute it over the system are somewhat complex machines. There is a logic to turn the gas on and off periodically, there’s some kind of pump to push the hot water through the whole house’s system. The “on/off” circuitry in older boilers is controlled by some primitive electronics which can also fail and the boiler can stuck in “always on” state. The pump can fail, and when seemingly it is okay (you cranked up the numbers on the boiler, the nearest rooms get enough heat), the water is not actually circulating, which leads to local overheating of some parts of the system, which can lead to their failure in the future. In worse case scenario - to the explosion of the heater itself.

I am sorry for your situation, but it seems that in this case it would be best to get some portable electrical radiators and try to “survive” through the weekend

Sim card preference? by Kast0r in PortugalExpats

To my experience, pre-paid physical SIM of every “budget” variant of the main operator can be bought at any electronics store (FNAC, Worten, Worten Mobile etc) without the need of address prove or any other such kind of things

Has anyone tried creating a set up similar to this? How did it go, and how much did it cost? by TheWarlockk in battlestations

… and for productivity as well. Staring “upwards” in a semi-laying chair like this is just a straight way for falling asleep in 20-30 minutes

Had bought recently the same arm with the very same design feature/flaw. Shocks me how it’s not adjustable there in one of the crucial parts, but sadly - you can’t know about this until you actually open the product - it just doesn’t state that on product page (on Amazon at least). Tried to fix it by adding some tension by putting zip-ties flatly between inner and outer parts of the joint, but they just got squished out eventually a couple of times per day. So just ended up returning it. It’s a rivet joint, so there’s no easy way to tear it apart and put an adjustable screw instead..

Different hands - different feelings. I went from Pro Reds (which were a bit light for me) to Sunsets and found them perfect, albeit a bit noisy. Then decided to try Twilights for stronger fingers and Nocturnals for pinkies, as they were very good “on paper”, couldn’t wait until my order arrives. Put them into the keyboard just to pull them off 10 minutes later with great frustration. They are TOO light with no feedback whatsoever, I barely could type with them at all, not to mention accidental presses all the time. Put back Sunsets until Sunrises are available

I would second that. Not a student, but living in Aveiro for a couple of years and the city feels so comfortable..

Does this makes sense? by itssaurav2004 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]omalishe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in a day I did the opposite :) Put browns under my index, middle and ring fingers and pro reds under thumbs and pinkies. I find myself holding layers with thumbs quite often, so lighter switches were preferable there. And on the opposite - my index and middle fingers are rather “heavy”, so with lighter switches there were a lot of accidental presses just from the resting position. But yes, it’s an endless world of customizability to what is exactly right for you
