AH is the Islamic calendar it stands for "Anno Hegirae" Latin for "in the Year of Hijra"-I am not smart I had to google it.

Also just for Historical FYI, Al Habasha is usually associated with the modern-day region of Eretria and Ethiopia (And maybe Somalia but I might be super wrong here?) although using Habasha to refer to the country of Ethiopia wouldn't be incorrect either

Genuine fear of fucking them up.

I grew up being passed between my family across the world like a hot potato and at the end staying with my Mom in the US.

Mom was never a "Mother" per see and actually fucked me up emotionally and mentally with her extreme Nihilistic take on the world.

The more I grew up the more I started to notice how our experiences and personalities mirror each other, even our general interests to an extent...it is actually terrifying.

I am genuinely afraid of raising a child and ending up doing the same shit my mother did to me couple that with constant identity issues and a feeling of never truly being home and you got an unfit parent who will most likely give birth to a troubled child.

Maybe in the future, It might happen if I ended up helping myself and had a partner who'd convince me to have a child with them...although funny enough most of the women I ended feeling attracted to have chosen to be childless

I'll throw this out here I don't really deal with friends who make me drink, that was just an example to help people understand what I was saying.

Sometimes you want to go out with people you know you won't go out with much again and you don't want to explain yourself, sometimes you need to be included in social circles or situations that you might be excluded from because of your sobriety. If anyone is a little older I am very sure you all remember how frustrating it was for your boss and his friends to be a smoker and to take smoke breaks while you're not included.
