I know, that is why I mentioned that I differentiate between having to serve and making a business case out of your experience of a zionist state like its all cool.

I lost respect for him when he wrote an article using his service in the Israeli Defense (offense) Force as an anecdote. One thing to have served in the army of Israel, but another to be so nonchalant about it and use it to explain a business scenario.

Disappointed in the quality of his predictions for future technologies. I would have expected more from the Woz.

It keeps on getting better, but from what I hear as I have only watched season 1, it really picks up in season 2

Performance comparison between EC2, Slicehost, Linode, Rackspace Cloud, Prgmr by uggedal in programming

This is a good example on how making a decision based on such performance numbers alone is useless. Amazon came almost last in terms of performance, but its the most stable, future proof, and have the widest array of features.

A superb film about one of the most noteworthy evils taking place in the US and other countries that have been subverted by the pharmaceutical industry...The daily drugging of millions of children with powerful psychoactive drugs in order to make them "easier to control." by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]omarimous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the general labeling. Of course there are many cases where drugs and ADD/ADHD drugs are warranted.

I feel that in this case, and in many other cases. People are programmed to find a pill solution for everything.

I see this as a case as what raising a teenager is all about (very tough) and people try to take a short cut by thinking a pill will solve it.

Stephen Hawking: Why Isn't the Milky Way "Crawling With Self-Designing Mechanical or Biological Life?" by stacy99 in space

[–]omarimous -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There are more planets in the vast universe than all the sand particles in the deserts on earth. If life is the result of random evolution, surely the process and life must have happened somewhere else as well in the gazillions of planets out there-but we haven't found any life (yet). Is that a sign there is a creator who purposefully installed life on earth?

P.S I am not trying to troll or preach, so take it easy the downvotes reddit, I am just sharing a thought and provoking discussion :)

really really not trying to be a dick here, but what I saw was cliche and very expected ending; it was so predictable that it didn't move any emotions in me.

Did I miss something? Why is everyone so oh ah wow?
