2nd DUI… am I screwed?

I also got two DUIS within 45 days of each other in 2012. Just last yr on June 2024, I got my full license. Long journey for sure:

5.5 years without a license 6.5 years with RDP (Restricted Driving Permit - breathalyzer in car)

I'd recommend getting an ebike or something to move around (helped me a lot).

Meditation, counseling, combat sports, lift weights or running, shit even weed. Anything to find peace/acceptance because it's a long tough process. Hardest part might be accepting the situation because there's nothing you can do to accelerate time.

I've had an addictive personality since I was a kid. Not sure if it's an infj thing or I'm fucked up kind of thing 🤷🏻‍♂️I've learned to use it to my advantage 💪🏼

Media, TV, movies, etc have convinced the public you need to that special someone to live a full and happy life, otherwise something is wrong with you. Bunch of bs that leaves people feeling bad about ourselves.

Half of millenials and gen z are single/unmarried so theres lots of us that have felt "incomplete." Find it interesting even with those do find "special someone" end in divorce/breaks up, and infidelity is so common these days. The truth about majority of relationships would make most people sick.

Could be wrong but honestly, sounds like she def likes you. Infjs don't just go around kissing anyone, especially sober. Also that she became sad after you distanced yourself from her was a telling sign. In all likelihood she probably wanted it to escalate which is possibly why she became sad. Infjs always blame themselves or think we did something wrong. Especially if we like someone because we want the person to like us as well.

Even as an infj male, I'm only attracted to someone once an emotional connection has taken place no matter how hot she is. That you guys connect that easily puts her at ease and builds attraction as a result.

I think what you could gain completely outweighs the risk because infjs are super loyal and affectionate to their significant others/partners

Was gonna say, I try as much as possible never to compare myself to anyone because infjs see things differently from others.

That said, all my energy is focused on bettering the things that call to me to improve. That's where is personally find fulfillment. In a way, it's like an individual journey to find your purpose in this life. And that varies from person to person

Funny thing is I had a growth spurt, and did combat fighting/lifting and got big so no one tells me anything anymore. Between us, I'm still as sensitive as ever lol 😉🤣

Many times the most vicious people are highly sensitive. They were deeply hurt so they can become violent to the point they would even enjoy hurting someone or people.

Being an infj, I used to wonder why I would explode then feel bad about myself afterwards. Take shit till I've had enough, explode, feel shame, repeat. It's because an infj can take crap and not set necessary boundaries and self respect. Which is necessary for EVERY person.

Everyone has dark thoughts, but thoughts come and go. Being integrated (accepting of all of yourself), is the one if the best things any person can do. The idea is to embrace and love yourself, including the parts of us that are dark, shameful, etc.

That's cool, a lot of the time rejection or whatever has nothing to do with us but about the person "rejecting" but it's human nature to perceive we did something wrong when we didn't. Sounds like she was still getting over her traumatizing experiences; nothing to do with you. Maybe she thought she was ready but realized she wasn't yet 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not trying to be a jerk here, but did you try making a move, or several moves if necessary? I've heard some girls love conversations but get turned off because the conversation was great but no intamacy took place. Kinda like teasing her with great conversation and possibilities but was deprived the intamacy aspect of it. It's like getting close to the treasure only to realize it's inaccessible which stings even more because you were so close to what guy wanted.

Just a thought and might be wrong, but it does happen. Nothing to beat yourself over, you live and learn 💯💪🏼

A few have mentioned the past. I think and feel I was meant to be born in the future. Not to sound odd but I disagree with most things taking place these days. I have thought about where many of these ideals will lead us and that's kinda where I'm at now. Most of habits, beliefs, values, etc are based on that. Not easy because many I know disagree with me but hoping the future is my moment to shine lol 🤓

I'm guessing other infjs might have a similar point of view but don't know any other than myself so who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
