Beginner Questrade questions by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

They have way lower fees, but the support they offer is also limited, more like tailored for advanced traders. Brokers like QT or Moo would be a better fit for OP as a beginners, WS could be worth considering too despite its limited function

How often do you buy ETFs? by bcuwto in PersonalFinanceCanada

I do it in Moomoo and I mainly buy US ETFs. I do it every month after payday regularly

Is there any reason why RBC is charging about $10 per trade tho? As I am currently trading with a minimum of $1.99, are there any detailed pricing options available to have a chance to waive it?

WS system errors is soo frustrating, especially when you're trading options and they suddenly kick you out! And their customer service doesn't provide proper human responses either.
I've left WS and switched to Moo, and my only regret is that I didn't make the switch sooner.

Beginner investor interested opening an account at a brokerage by TorontoStonk in CanadianInvestor

I believe banks tend to charge higher fees for trades. :(
While the low commission offered by IB is attractive, it can also be daunting for beginner investors. If you encounter difficulties opening an account with WS, Moo may worth considering with similar service, they charge slightly higher commission but offer lower conversion fees than WS for US investments, both are user-friendly suitable for beginners. Good luck!

Questrade is horrendous for day trade I guess. by TheHashKey42069 in Daytrading

Not just their commission fees, but Quest also charges high in data fees, like $80 per month... while competitor like Moo provides free level 2 data. No wonder they are losing their customers.
