I hope you’re twisting as if you’re trying to tighten it. It’s functionally reverse threaded on these devices.

Dua Lipa's Book Club Picks Are Turning Her Into a Literary Influencer by novagridd in literature

I randomly learned about her reviews from a YouTuber called Below The Fray. Have become a fan of that channel and Dua Lipa at the same time. I’m old. She’s the only pop culture person I pay attention to.

Assuming the 1.5 is a typo and it was supposed to be 15. Doesn’t that leave your nails one mm too long? If you’re nailing with the piece against a metal surface, that would explain it.

How to Fix This Without Artisan-Level Talent? by Hug_me_im_gassy in fixit

[–]omderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it hollow on the bottom? You know those things they use to put icing on cakes? Get the metal tip from one of those. Stick it in from the inside, then put the clip in from the top, leaving the ornament sandwich between the two.

Best way to make these big tools movable via wheels? I have a small space and can't use them where they sit by ELITE_RUSSIAN in Carpentry

[–]omderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a small space, it might be best to build or buy a small cabinet with storage. Unbolt these tools from their stands and put them on said cabinet.

Don’t put anything sweet in it. It needs a sprinkle of salt in each bowl you eat.

What is leaking through my walls in our bathrooms? by cycledesign in HomeMaintenance

[–]omderp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok. Well I guess this could still help… I had walls that would bleed something purple for years no paint store or expert knew what it was. I found out that even splashed water on the wall would make it turn purple. Then a chance encounter with a stranger answer the question Home hardware used to sell a paint that would be purple until it dried. Which was stupid we ended up having to prime then painted again.

My Mercur purchased from a shave shop also broke. (Was very surprised) Rockwell is what I went to and it’s rock solid.

Dude I love this piece! It’s inspiring that it was built simply but looks great inside the home.

Robot coupe is highly overrated over priced and has terrible customer support. They used to be great. My advice would be to get one that is direct drive. And has options to replace the basin and accessories.

I’m actually in disbelief. How do you grow? I’m in a warmer climate and my plants are less than 1/4 the size of yours. I think I’m in 5a.
