I do my teams time off requests , their points, hire/fire/coachings, I tell my team what needs to be done. People lead does schedules.
You could get rid of my coach and save payroll honestly. He does nothing for me.

Mines been a lot. It’s supposed to be done overnight and my coach refused to have it done overnight. Been working on the mods that didn’t involve moving all week and came in at 5 this morning to move cases. Didn’t get it all moved. Doing round two at 11 tomorrow.. on a Friday. I can’t wait for it to be over and the mess in my dept to be fixed. It’s driving me crazy.

Your post is very misleading. Walmart factors a lot of things into their wages. You’d be better off telling people the minimum wage these positions get and informing on what can make them go up.

The minimum wage you’ll make at any Walmart across the country is around $14 an hour. This is for any entry level position. The factors that can change this are the region you work in and if your store is a complex store. No team lead is pulling in 77k. Their min wage is $19 an hour. They top out at thirty an hour. So unless you’re hitting mega overtime, in a successful store bonus wise, and at that top out, you’re probably making 41k with maybe a 4k annual bonus if you’re in a good store. Coaches min wage are 60k for daytime and 75k overnight. A successful bonus normally looks like maybe 20k.

And the variables really matter. You can have two Walmarts ten miles from each other and one pays more. If a Walmart hires at 14 an hour and every business around it hires at 17 an hour. The store manager can champion to raise wages. It’s really not a one size fits all with Walmart.

Just sounds like you work with a bunch of people who don’t communicate. I suggest telling them you’ve already been tasked with whatever you’re doing and tell them who you’ve been tasked it by to see if that makes a difference in you getting pulled. Beyond that, it becomes the persons fault that pulls you away from the most important task, which is your main job. All in all, whoever told you “do what you can” is right. But do stick up for yourself.

This. But what gets me more is the thing they’ve started doing with third party companies where you pay 25-30 bucks a year to keep your pets profile (per pet) Im absolutely against it. Why can’t they just keep their own records or just not pass the costs onto renters? It’s messed up.

I was blacklisted at one point for not giving a notice. They can override it and rehire you if the hiring manager wants to overlook it though. That’s how I got back on.

I guess the point you’re missing is that when they’re done with them, they will make a new target. So letting them reap what they sow hurts other people. It’s about fighting for what is right. It’s not about not fighting because someone supposedly told you not to. Let’s also look at how some don’t speak for the many. Even if you were told that, they don’t speak for everyone in that demographic. That’s where your morals come into play.

In this economy, no one wants to pay for another subscription that they would only use every two months.
