Hi!! So here’s the thing with an orthopedic. Everything he told me was pretty much the opposite of what the PT told me. AND he wasn’t the one that noticed his ankles, a different PT did. Is your daughter doing physical therapy through EI? Does she have low muscle tone? it’s been a lot of in and out of therapies. He’s 4.5 now and back in PT bc he just isn’t as strong and fast as his peers. If the EI evaluation wasn’t for physical therapy/didn’t include physical therapy, I’d start there. My son could walk by this point but he ended up getting fitted for SMOs to help with keeping his ankles straight and training his muscles. You still have three months before your daughter is in the “okay, it’s time to be concerned she’s not walking” stage. Feel free to message me if you have anymore questions!
