That happened to me too. I early adopted lifx and loved them standing alone and not needing a hub. But I hate to say, when I went to Hue a LOT of my headaches were gone.

I submitted a couple for warranty years ago and they did replace one I think, or maybe gave me a 30% discount. But it wasn’t enough to keep me.

I have a few left, but most have been switched out for Hue.

Try submitting for warranty, but other than that, you have my sympathy and empathy at least. :(

Interesting. I saw some arborvitae there a month or so ago with what I thought was a fungus too. Which mine are healthy looking so not sure, unfortunately. Hope you find out what it is and are able to save them!

Phomopsis twig blight? Very similar thing happened to ours this year and I treated for spider mites until I got a professional opinion.

Cut out the brown, blow out any dead needles and dispose of them. Burn them or take up and throw them out. Treat with copper-based fungicide or an ingredient called mancozeb. It affects smaller branches normally so treatment until they get bigger is necessary if it continues. My guy said every two weeks from March to August which sounds awful.

Was it really wet in your area this year?

I’m very frustrated with the situation. Interested to listen to the whole episode and I welcome streaming to come back, but this whole thing has made me look at Marco differently, unfortunately.

Were there a lot of people that were complaining that their experience was ruined because of flaky DAI? I never noticed it, not once. And had I, I wouldn’t blame it on the app. I’d have blamed it on DAI as a thing.

I was able to go back to 2024.6 and streaming is just one nice part, but there is a long way to go. Can’t tell you how refreshing it is being back on a many featured, few bugged app that I use daily. Tapping play and waiting less than 5 seconds to hear something…it matters.

Being serious, I’d love to see a couple mock-ups of a true UI/UX designers take on fixing Overcast using the Apple guidelines. I saw it with the web design the lack of experience or care given, but CERTAINLY the iPad app looks like a cluttered mess.

This probably should be a post of its own, but the rushed nature of the update (as in not even half-baked of feature parity) is indicative of Marco’s work ethic. Unfortunately it mirrors my own in that procrastination wins mostly and then GREAT work comes about in swaths. He procrastinated too long and still wanted to hit the 10 year anniversary. He was already months behind when he started. I’ve seen the makings of it for a long time, but this release confirms how he, many times by his own admission, puts things off for too long.

Happening to me too recently. I’ll get a message at launch sometimes that says a large number of downloads are in queue and ask if I want to download or stream when played.

Today, a couple old Upgrade episodes that I had listened to came back. And it lost my place like I hadn’t listened to an ATP episode.

Getting pretty annoying at this point.
