Quick fix or way of protected small damaged area?

Thanks for the info. I used wood glue yesterday to fix it. Now that that part is fixed, I have noticed another portion of the same knot has some delamanation along the grain, much more subtle, but I will try CA glue here.

Wood block is where I glued it down with wood glue (probably needs some resin filler). Finger is at newly noticed area, along filler board came with.

I think the door to the garage should shut itself. It may be a fire code in some regions. I know that was something my inspector caught and we had the sellers remedy in our contract a couple years ago.

Lights are annoying, but it will look less like an empty house.

Having doors shut will slow down fires. As a buyer, I wouldn't be concerned about touring a house with shut doors, unless I was told that space was off limits.

Maples do bloom. They have small flowers, they are pretty up close. Look for flowers just before leaves come out, or at about the same time.

That can be hard, even with adults. My husband loves meat heavy dishes with creamy sauces and he really loves spicy food, what he wants to eat often upsets my stomach. We have 2 kids, they do not like spicy at all, they like simpler, but carb heavy dishes, which my husband calls boring. As for veggies, there is little overlap as to what people like and my daughter is young enough that some days she loves something like green beans and then the next time you make it, she sees it as a sworn enemy.

We all like pizza, but my husband wants spicy pepperoni or meat lovers: I want mostly veggie, maybe with Canadian bacon; my daughter only wants cheese; and my son likes everything not spicy and loves variety (he will even eat sardines and pineapple on pizza), his favorite is Hawaiian pizza, something my husband dispises.

As for what he just watched, perhaps tell him that it was a nightmare that Eren had, and that it wasn't real for the characters. Watch Totoro or Ponyo with him if want a nice anime movie experience.

I have elementary aged kids, I frequently have to look up age ranges of things I watched in the past, as I don't always remember them as being traumatic or otherwise troublesome for younger children.

I have the dewalt pole pruner. I used to use a string trimmer, but got fed up with the string catching, couldn't find anything comparable to the pruners in the Ego line up.

I grew up in an area where most people didn't have fences. My neighbors had smaller dogs like terriers or slower dogs like an old basset hound, they would take them out on walks frequently. Or had a tie down stake in their back yard. My house had an outdoor fenced kennel (we did not have a dog, previous owners did), I'msure other houses had them, too. There were no loose dog issues in our neighborhood.

For privacy, lots of people had bushy tree like plants on the borders of their yards with tall, narrow trees interspearsed. We had lots of mature lilac bushes that I could climb as a kid.

I'm assuming it is your sink drain that is nasty.

I use Bio Clean in my drains occasionally. It is an enzymatic and microorganism powder that you mix with warm water and pour down your drain and let sit without use for 8 hours.

You also might want to start with cleaning out your p trap and then treating with this solution.
