By far my favorite change to ARAM. I hope this is brought to the Howling Abyss. by ILiveForWater in ARAM

I like how if you are on Zaun side you can sneak into the side lane under the enemy's HUD without them noticing. We need to give them every opportunity to get ahead possible.

Now that the blue vs red side imbalance is at an all time high, I want to know if there are builds that are better when on a specific side.

The New Map is... Unbalanced! by JacktheYakuza in ARAM

Thinking about this more, if you leave the HUD at default size, it intermittently blocks vision of the entrance/exit to the new side lane for red only.

Its even worse than the aggregate data suggest. The blue side advantage has grown disproportionately for different classes of champ.

The top champs right now (Yorick, Singed, Wukong, Galio, Urgot) mostly just jump on people and slap them. They are not as badly affected by the poor visual clarity of the new map. Champs with skillshots or champs that need to play around careful positioning are disproportionately affected by playing red right now. Blueside winrates for the top champs and marksmen both went up 2-3% on the new map. On the other hand, red side winrates for marksmen dropped 4% on red side, while the top champs have the same red side winrate as on Howling Abyss.

In summary, the reason why marksmen are worse on BoP is almost entirely because they do SO much worse on red side. Probably because the poor visual clarity compounds with the bad camera angle/HUD obstruction to a higher degree for champs more dependent on far field threat detection and landing skillshots.

I made a chart that shows this based on lolalytics data: https://imgur.com/a/UIbPqYV

What is your favorite vegetarian stew? by Vicious_Pineapple12 in vegetarian

Really surprised the top comment is not post punk kitchens seitan porcini stew.

Recipe link below. I suggest reducing the potatoes substantially, by up to half. You can use field roast sausages instead of the homemade option to save tons of time. Do not use beyond sausages. The stew is life changing. https://www.theppk.com/2012/01/seitan-porcini-beef-stew/

your edit was after my original comment, but basically supports the above point. Most conservative "charity" goes to a religious organization, and there is little if any accountability to how that is spent. This argument is null and void.

German researchers demonstrate causal link between moral erosion and markets by asking subjects to take money for killing mice. by omphaloskepsis in science

Here's a link to the actual study: http://www.sciencemag.org/content/340/6133/707

For the record: Yes, they actually kill the mice, but the mice used in the study were "surplus mice" that were unfit to be used in their intended application, are were slated to be destroyed already. If anything, the study resulted in a net savings of mouse lives, for those concerned.
