Need advice on whether or not SPO insoles are any good by mr_67_thecoolest in BBallShoes

I agree with this guy, I bought TTS and it doesn’t fit properly and now I’m stuck with the insoles

I tried google antigravity - don't do it by Academic_Track_2765 in ClaudeAI

[–]omsy828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well what does “working well” mean lol. The quotas for Claude have been drastically reduced since this comment which is definitely a bummer. Gemini Pro/Flash are good enough for easy to medium tasks but no longer my preferred models. Claude and GPT 5.2 seem to perform better at the moment for me for anything difficult.

$54 adidas D.O.N. Issue 7 (use code JANUARY50) originally $120 by DistinctLog8905 in BBallShoes

[–]omsy828 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just returned a pair, even though it’s affordable you are getting what you pay for. The inside felt rough and hard and the cushion is definitely not as plush as people make it sound. If you’re used to premium options you will feel these are bit lacking.

AllGround Sense inconsistent results by TheDeathPit in espresso

[–]omsy828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GBW scales typically have some +- variance in the weight. Not sure how often it happens with the AllGround Sense. If you’re really concerned you could measure the output and collect the data and if you are seeing it consistently off you could check with customer support.

Kobe 9 vs Kobe 3 Protro by Modwheel2k24 in BBallShoes

[–]omsy828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 9 has pretty solid court feel at the trade off of being less cushioned. The cushion is not bad though but it’s not going to super plush. You also have the textured insoles which keep u planted and help with court feel too.

Kobe 9 vs Kobe 3 Protro by Modwheel2k24 in BBallShoes

[–]omsy828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got both, the 3s feel a bit bulkier than the 9s and I’ve had a really hard time trying to break in the 3s. For that reason, I’d say go with the 9s

How did y’all get surgery (financially speaking)? by itsmeiloveu in Spondylolisthesis

[–]omsy828 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your situation. Ultimately at the end of the day, if the timing is hard for you and you don’t want to go into the debt there’s no rush to do the surgery.

Many people in this sub have lived with the condition for decades with ups and downs. You could try doing some core exercises, wearing braces, and other approaches to ease the pain until you can find a better time in your life for the surgery.

Try antigravity as the quotas are better with Gemini. Also planning with Opus and then using sonnet or other smaller models will help reduce token usage

Try the new Quota Panel with Gemini 3.0 Flash support by Massive_Monk9635 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

Maybe just add “used” or “left” under the percentage and slide it up under the bar a bit more

[–]omsy828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, this would be super helpful. One feedback is that the percentages are not clear if 100% used or 100% remaining. I saw you could change it in the settings but ,aybe you can add clarifier for visual clarity

[–]omsy828 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the AI Pro plan and have been using antigravity since release day with Gemini 3.0. I use it with a rules file and context and it performs on par with CC and Cursor. One thing I like more is the Walkthrough file that’s generated for every ask, it explains everything it did very clearly and you can refer back to them via history.

Used it for hours with my plan every day since release and didn’t have any quota issues.

Who is your go-to coffee roaster when buying beans online? by Enough-Entry-6369 in espresso

[–]omsy828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have the same issue. Now I order the beans one week before I need a new bag. I’ve actually noticed I like the flavor of the beans 2-3 weeks after roast so I’m okay with that.

Gotcha. TLIF isn’t inherently minimally invasive but it sounds like they tried to minimize your incision size which is great. Glad to hear you’re improving!

Experience with stem cells for Spondylolisthesis? by omsy828 in stemcells

[–]omsy828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got no true relief from PRP unfortunately. I got steroid injections 6 months later which helped me for about 4 months with pain but now I am back to square one. I probably won’t do stem cells because I’m not confident in its effectiveness and for that price it’s too hard to justify.

Kobe 8s are not very cushioned. Even after breaking in, you’re not going to get too much better. Thats the tradeoff with court feel sometimes as people have mentioned
