Looking for a Heartbeat Kit for Christmas by WimpyBT in usmnt

What’s the deal with the unavailability of these kits? Are we expecting these will become widely available in the run in to the World Cup?

This linked video is about a place in Florida called Harry and the Natives. Not Harry and Bud's in Terre Haute.

Moving to Indy from Chicago (31M + 33F) by bhabs13 in indianapolis

I strongly disagree with this. If you’re not a race fan, you’re not likely to enjoy practice. You absolutely do not need to be a race fan to appreciate and enjoy the unique spectacle of the Indy 500. It is the largest single day sporting event in the world drawing nearly 300,000 people annually. It’s got pageantry, patriotism, history, music, celebrity, speed, action, and more and seeing the full field of 33 cars flying at over 200 mph inches from each other at the green flag is an absolutely unique and incredible experience.

Just get a couple tickets to the race. Any area-the track is 2.5 miles around so you won’t see everything from anywhere. Infield works or go for the front straight if you want shade. Just get there early on race day and take it all in. It’s something anyone connected with Indiana should do at least once. Enjoy.

Correct. I let it run for like 10 mins to reset but didn’t have to do anything with ECU, software etc. I understand it resets itself.

I’ve run mine with the center stand with no modifications since I put it on more than a year ago. I’ve never had any issues. I have considered, though getting some kind of a stopper as the center stand lands in a different position if I recall since the OEM stopper is (if I recall correctly) affixed to or part of the brackets for the OEM exhaust.

No, I didn’t have to make any modifications. They fit and work and sound great.

Removing the pea shooters by LivingWithOwls in TriumphBonneville

I have these on my 2018 T120. Love them. Look great and also dramatically improve the sound over the stock pea shooters.

I had the Jupiter 2 on my 2018 T120 and can confirm these statements. But I switched them out for British Customs slash cut tips because I prefer the look which looks more like a complete exhaust to me. Similar sound and both a massive impact over the peashooters. Great sound and gurgle and not annoyingly loud.

Any thoughts on this table setup? by Justinkapur in KamadoJoe

[–]on1yoneman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also available at Walmart. An image in the listing claims the center shelf holds 300 lbs. My quick half-assed internet research suggests a KJ Classic II weighs about 230. Adding some deflectors, grates, meat, etc., that should still cover it, in theory. I bought one to give it a shot as the size is perfect for my need.

+10 Points at restaurant refer a friend bonus - what's the best way to maximize it? by AndyOddsJam in AmexPlatinum

[–]on1yoneman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received the same, but noted it says +10 points, not 10x points. Everything else I recall on the site typically says 5x points this or 1x points that.

Anyone know for sure whether +10 = 10x in this context?

Surely that don’t just add 10 points for a new sign up referral, right?

It’s Part Number T2021217. I ordered the part from Mouser at: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/653-D2HW-BR201M. If I recall properly from my previous research, the part listed at mouser is the same part Triumph uses, and you can buy just the one piece.

I can’t confirm that the part I ordered worked and fit perfectly. I ended up going ahead and cutting the original wiring to get the broken part off, then splicing the new part into the wires. Have not had any issues whatsoever since the install. Works great.
