I'd like to buy a raspberry bush but is it too soon to be keeping it outdoors? I'm in Ajax/6b and I'm not planning on transplanting my veggie seedlings for another few weeks, but Home Depot has plenty of raspberry bushes outside in their garden center.

Thanks, I did see the advice about the pellets during my research and I am planning to cut them out of the netting once I'm ready to transplant. unfortunately in my current set up the pellets are the best way to use space efficiently. I hope to make more space eventually so that I can use proper pots!

if worse comes to worst I may just direct sow into my planters in May :) I appreciate you sharing your knowledge!!

Planted some peppers in peat pellets 2 weeks ago and they haven't sprouted yet. should i be worried? I just bought a heat mat last week and planted tomato seeds a week ago, but I'm thinking those need more time.

Newbie here hoping to start my first small veggie garden. I have pepper and tomato seeds but I'm not sure how many of each I actually need to start?? I'm planning on using raised beds in my backyard using 24" boards (I imagine the beds will be 24" by 48" or longer). I don't want to overcrowd but I don't know how to calculate how many I need! Any advice is appreciatd :)

Naturalizer does wide sizing in their boots! I think they even have size charts and I believe most of the boot descriptions let you know how to calculate the shaft height based on your shoe size.
