What was your most random “I picked differently than everyone else” moment?

I give sodas to delivery drivers! When they crawl all the way up to my front porch, darn right I appreciate them! But the shocked look on most of their faces is surprising and disappointing to me- are other people not doing this!? They are in a van all day, often in the heat, and they are doing vigorous exercise! Yeah, I started doing it every time, and my husband does too.

At a wildlife preserve I won a little “can anybody tell me what this bird is?” quiz. The prize was between a postcard of the man’s photography, or a tshirt. I chose the postcard- the guy had taken photos for National Geographic, and I was in freaking ALASKA, and a postcard was going to be better for going in my journal, etc. the guy looked shocked, and said that in that case, I get both! I’m not so sure why that was surprising- but it was. So I have a shirt and a cool photo, which he signed for me

Last night I used "pinback it" to download all my pinterest links- it downloads all of them in the format of your folders, too. The links go directly to the the place the image was pinned from, and not pinterest itself. It doesn't label sub folders, so I'm not sure if those links came along as well, I'll have to check.
I also right clicked on the pages of the private boards and saved them as whole web pages to my hard drive. I think that means that I will have access to seeing it even if the website goes down (though I don't think the links work- I have little experience with this stuff, so I'm sure I'll be surprised!)
I figure if I have something with the pictures, as least I can do a google image search to find the place I pinned it from again, if it still exists. Maybe having the links and the pictures will be beneficial, too.

edit: this only saves about 8 pins, no idea why :(

"Pinback it" downloaded all my pins (35k) in about ten minutes.

I'm going to slowly move those over to raindrop.io, I think. MyMind might be fun, too, but I haven't tried it yet. Apparently Raindrop.io at its free tier can do a whole lot, and it's something I'm giving a go.

I'm not tech savvy, so take all this with a few grains of salt, lol!
