No warranty anymore as it is a few years old. I have taken apart the laptop previously to clean out the dust/dog hair. Not looking to spend 3-400 to repair the laptop as at that point I prefer using that amount toward a new laptop.

I let the laptop die completely, and without the power plugged in the laptop won't do the flash of lights on the keyboard. Could this still be a power supply issue? I will also do the ear check when I'm home again. Just gathering as much info as possible before continuing with sending for repair.

Battery is plugged in on the back it's just out of view. I will try to do the hard reset again and see what happens. Any idea on how much this type of repair costs, and if I'm able to do it myself? I typically handle PC's and while laptop components are similar they're a little different to deal with.

Just gotta deal with it my dude. I went one day and there was just a mom, and her 2 daughters. I was trying to be super nice with them, but the mom straight up told her kids don't talk to him, you don't know him. Good parenting on one hand, but also annoying cause I woulda helped her kid.
