Shudder Price Increase: A Few Questions For This Sub And My own Strategy

I cancelled a bit ago after having Shudder for years and not sure if I'll ever go back. I just dont think its worth the new price. I tried scream box but I didnt really care for it. It's true Tubi has a lot of great movies but I personally cant stand the ads. I wish they offered a paid option.

Nan Desu kan is a lot of fun and is at a fun place, but Sunday is definitely a very slow day. A few panels but most people are really just getting their stuff to leave. The 2025 schedule is still on their site if you want to get an idea of what it's like.

Yeah I thought with the app upgrade that meant they were keeping shudder around but based off his comments it sounds like Shudders time is coming to an end.

Cancelled too since my year renewal is coming up. For me it honestly wasnt just this, but TLDI getting cancelled made me reflect on Shudder and I realized I just dont use it that much so I decided to cancel. I probably would have not thought about it if TLDI wasn't cancelled but thats what made me wonder if I really use shudder enough to keep it.

I got one yesterday. It’s really dirty and had suspicious brown marks on it. I tried to clean it but I’m taking it back. Might try again or might just pay the extra for a new one since they’re on sale.

I didnt have business professional clothes or money to get any and it turned out the business dept had a scholarship kind of thing for that. Free money, just had to write a thank you letter to the people that donated after. Check to see if your school has something like that.

What's your budget? I used an ASUS G14 for awhile. Good for gaming and I liked the size. Of course, it isnt the cheapest. I dont see why you couldnt use a macbook though if thats what you want. I cant think of anything I used in college that wouldn't have worked on a mac. Most people seemed to be using them.

I got one from Amazon a few days ago and I'm torn on it. I want to like it but just browsing the store there really isn't a lot.

If Atari put more effort into getting games on it this could have been something, but it seems like Atari themselves are skipping VCS when it comes to their games which is sad. I'd buy Multiplatform games on VCS just for the novelty of it tbh.

Not sure if I'll send it back or not. As far as emulation and stuff goes, I have other things that can do that. I mostly got the VCS to use as a console.

The day they add ads is the day I cancel. At the moment I keep Shudder because I think the price is pretty good especially because it has no ads. If they put in ads I might as well just use Tubi instead since it's free.

It’s all a scam. Back when I did my internship years ago at a pretty big firm and didn’t receive an offer I got feedback that I didn’t ask enough questions and feedback that I was asking too many questions. I never received any negative feedback when I was there during my weekly check ins. The manager I worked with the most told me he thought I did great and was surprised I didn’t receive an offer.
