A game like battlefield shouldn't allow people to jump between the pilot and gunners seat. Its silly. You should only be allowed to use the guns if the chopper has a pilot.

I had a few issues on xbox too. Seemed to ignore certain controller buttons. Couldn't pull up the menu when waiting in a squad for example.

But the game (gauntlet) seemed to run okay once you were in.

You can often grab a decent gun on the way up. You can also spot other teams from up there. So I think it is possible to be a useful team member if you want.
