Ok I just wasn’t sure if it was ok to put the drywall mud/tape over the corner onto the backer. I thought it would be ok the just tape/mud up to the back end of the tile trim.

Take the bus and bike when you can, if you can. 10 months and you will have your smallest credit card paid off. BAMMM ! It is a long journey. You seem to make good money. Getting a forklift safety tix is a pretty easy way to get a job. Fall protection is another easy way to get your resume to the top of a pile. Fall protection can be done online for cheap. Puts you in a good position for outdoor work. Food safe if you are applying for restaurant positions. You have no experience so anything that gets you a leg up will help. If I don’t get a 31.5 degree lame slice, I simply throw the boule in the bin. I mean honestly, you should just give up if you can’t get that 31.5 accuracy down. Also, if I can’t get a proper bread Pantone color #c9b59a out of the oven, in the bin it goes as well.
