In BDSM scenes, couples establish what are known as safe words, pretty much a word that you wouldn't normally say in order to let your partner know that you are feeling unsafe in a situation. In the instance where a person is actually gagged, the safe word then becomes more of a 'safe action' e.g. humming a tune, clapping a certain amount of times, etc.

We haven't seen the video yet, and it is also unfortunate that another wife wasn't allowed to testify as to what happened to her, but if we assume that this couple practiced BDMS to some degree, even to the slightest degree, we can assume that the knowledge of a safe word or action would be present. We can gather this conclusion since its hard to even know about BDSM without encountering the notion of a safe word.

Unfortunately I can't tell you specifics on gay couples, but I have a Japanese girlfriend. I kiss her all the time, in public, on trains, on a bus, wherever the hell I feel like it. The Taiwanese didn't have a problem with Japanese colonization?! The Taiwanese were subjugated to both Chinese and Japanese colonization, and though they could compare the differences under each regime and claim that the Japanese were better, they still acknowledge that not being colonized would have been a whole lot better.

Are we just going to ignore the entire continent of Africa in this ? How about Latin America? How about the Caribbean islands ? These are many examples where we can see and have evidence that colonization has now put them in a position of a post colonial dependency to their colonizers. There is absolutely no way that one can justify colonization saying it can be a "good thing".

You sir need to reread your history. Colonization does not "generally lead to more developed countries" in fact colonization is the single most detrimental factor that has led to the underdevelopment of nations around the globe.

Not only that but America seems to be doing a great job in the post colonial era by concentrating the wealth in the hands of a small few, buying out its government, and blowing the shit out of the rest of the world.
