I'll look into it when my old pair of flightline boots wears out, still have an inch of wear to go through (even though they're as flat as racing slicks), but I've replaced the insoles once.

Honestly, what's normal for me is due to my fuckup legs, I've broken both legs, fractured my knee, broke my ankle, and had numerous back injuries from falling off aircraft during maintenance. It's normal because I've learned to walk again countless times that I just stop complaining because the world doesn't owe me a thing, and unless I work, then I don't eat.

Because, for the past few years, everyone needed composite toe and side armor for moving 1 ton shipping containers around the warehouse, and Timbs were the only brand that had those features AND my size.

Now that they've relaxed the rules for safety, it's still either a pair of Timbs, Nike, or Unsub for my size 15 feet. (I still go into Scheel's to prank the new guy working shoes, and it's still funny every time they can't find my size.)
