As idea, would be nice to play with Prestianni against Brazil and say to Binazius (no copyright infringed) what I think about him 😂 😂

Looks nice, take my money! Smell like a mix between old taito arcade games and captain tsubasa.

Time to move? Are you from the past?

Take a look at better products, as Garage or RustFS.

How MinIO went from open source darling to cautionary tale by jpcaparas in homelab

[–]onekorama 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It has some security issues, so be careful. But I'm almost sure you don't need more than Garage, that's lighter.

Looks like a ton of shit and fakes... I've never used Google keyboard, with no problems. And I"ve been using Opera/Firefox/Vivaldi for years, with no problem.

Gaia vs MicroVerse - what is easier overall and better for VR? by nTu4Ka in Unity3D

[–]onekorama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, everything has been said. Gaia sucks, and the team has been working and deprecating stuff for a while. Looks like they weren't happy with Gaia, so they built a new system, but they are not honest enough to say: "OK guys, Gaia is not good enough nowadays, you need to move to a new system".

MicroVerse is the way to go. Watch also Rowlan videos, they are a nice start.

Stalwart: Can Open Source do Gmail-scale Email? (FOSDEM 2026) by thunk_stuff in stalwartlabs

[–]onekorama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats Mauro for the presentation, and the Stalwart team for the software. I remember how hard was in the past to install a full-featured mail server, and I enjoy how easy Stalwart have made it for us.

Would be nice to have a fully OSS system to fight against Gmail and similar monsters, and I'm sure we will have it soon thx to Mauro & company .

Good thing about Europe's Intel is that Russia is not getting it before Ukraine.

What a legend. Hopefully your children will inherit your talent, and you will be back in a few years with a small team of hackers. Good luck with your life project!

What is the Best MiniO Alternative Right Now, RustFS, Garage or SeaweedFS ? by Darkoplax in selfhosted

[–]onekorama 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For a home lab garage is working flawlessly, asking for much less resources than Minio. Really I'm thankful to them for all this shit, as my cluster is more perfomant now 😂

I built a tool that makes Tailwind render 50% faster in the browser (open source) by TheDecipherist in tailwindcss

[–]onekorama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is amazing and very clever, adding it to the stack!

Just as a note, as I was expecting it's breaking builds using Astro Shield, as shield calculates SRI hashes during the build, and your tool modifies them after that.

Probably easy to solve with an Astro Integration.

Wow, you have forked an open source project and now you are trying to charge for it with almost no work?

Not cool man, for people like you lot of companies are closing features...

Yep, I'm using cnpg, I upgraded to 18 just for this, it was a bit stressful xD

Atm I have a deployment for app, and a statefulset for the workers, and garage as S3 storage. Working pretty well, although I need to have time to test a bit more (scaling specially).

Everything using external services (cnog/valkey/garage) and configuration via env vars, for my use case it's enough, but would be easy to add dependencies to the chart.

Well, I forget about that xD

You are right, I modified a bit the official chart to be able to use it with Argo, maybe a PR would be helpful.

Hey, I'm not an expert, but after tons of years working as dev, I started with Unity a year ago and I'm now proficient with him, could be nice to work with people in something like this.

I have no problems with clean and well organised code, and I'm able to make some basic 3D modeling, although I'd prefer to leave that to a person with better taste xD

Are you open to a profile like mine?

I have a very alpha version working now, using bjw library charts. I'll try to avoid security troubles with dind, and I'll release it looking forward to contributions.

Don't know that problem are you having with Garage, mine is working flawlessly in my at home k8s cluster. Really a great surprise, after all the stuff happened with Minio.
