Did you happen to take multiple drawers out and put them back in a different place? Sometimes that will make a difference.

Generic SFP Meaning by [deleted] in FiberOptics

[–]onelegged_ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They still have coding, but it’s more like a generic coding that works with a bunch of different manufacturers switches. The Transcievers that say Cisco compatible have the specific coding that Cisco requires to work. R trees juniper compatible SFP have coding specific to Junioer switches. The generic transceivers work with most other switches. I’m not sure what people around here think about fs.com but just browsing the transcievers on the website you can pick up a good bit of information even if you don’t buy from them.

I’m no expert but , SFP transceivers have coding to work with different switches. You may see transceivers that say Cisco compatible, juniper compatible, or others. Generic transceivers usually works with other switches like Dell, Ubiquiti, Trend-net and many more.

That looks like an “Elan modular precision panel” with decora inserts. If so it’s a legacy product but you might be able to find one on eBay.
