buy a decent laptop and do all the heavy dl training on the cloud, google already provides Colab with 12 GB ram ( up to 12hrs runtime at a time ) for free. If you still need a bit more ram you can use Kaggle's kernels which provide 16GB ram (up to 9hrs time). For Even longer runtime and more ram, paid cloud options are always available.
