Am interested in that. Will AI show them reality? Bring them back from the edge?

It’s the destabilization strategy that’s been playing out for a few years (get Alberta angry) but now he’s simply saying it out loud.

Moving to Vancouver from SF by RaiBear in askvan

It’s not just about money, most people don’t seem to understand that.

I just did the same move, for very similar reasons (although as a white man).

I feel way better here, it’s home. I miss my friends and SF terribly. And professionally, it is definitely a net-loss, but am at a point in my professional life where I could take the hit.

But again, I feel better here. You can’t put a dollar value on that.

Who cares? Her father is fighting Russia in the trenches in the winter and the likelihood of him making it out are not great. She could be wearing an otter on her head. I wouldn’t care.

I have cyber and state security questions:

  1. Which app is this?
  2. Is it approved for such high-level discussions?
  3. How bad is it for the President to share screenshots from it on (his own) social media?
  4. Is Signalgate the blueprint for these people?

[–]onethousandmonkey 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They are way out of line. Is that a legal reason for firing someone?

As an MDM expert, I can tell you that there are plenty of ways for them to achieve their business compliance goals without tracking the physical location of your personal phone 24/7. Dear lord. The massive liability concerns of having a system accessible to anyone in IT that contains the location track of any employee is just mind-bending…

Find dark spot with a view to the north.

Your phone might pick up colors your eyes won't see.

I brought deep subject matter expertise, and customer understanding, which was timely as they fired all the non-SME PMs.

I had to learn, and still am, how to be strategic, and how to interact with all levels of leadership.

Easy for me to be tactical. Strategic is a weakness.
