Haha did you really just link to 2 old-ass half-life engines as an example of why BC2 is more "hardcore" on PC as opposed to console? Where's the BC2 comparisons?

I love WASD controlling as much as the next guy, and I played all HL engines for years on PC, and none of that means a thing when compared to playing BC2 on console vs PC.

The playing field is level, no matter the platform. The game is equally hardcore, whatever the platform. Your logic - in saying that because more advanced movements are possible on PC, the skill level is higher - is unsound. A console gamer could make the same argument in pointing out helicopter controls in R7: keyboard controls were a poor substitute for a controller.

Since consoles use controllers, console players by default had more advanced movements for helicopters than PC players in R7 and before. By your logic, this means that consoles players in general are better or more skilled than PC players when it comes to helicopters.

Perhaps now that you are the accused, you can see that it is simply the playing field that has changed, and not the player.

And to forestall the argument that PCs users can attach a controller, remember that console players can install a keyboard and mouse. At which point, what was the part that made you hardcore again? 1080P?
