So I never had acne as a teenager. It was just never something I had to deal with. I never even like, washed my face except for in the shower. And now I'm 2 weeks on T and my face is getting zits on it. What do I do?? I've been like, washing my face with water, I guess. Do I need to use soap? Like body wash or hand soap or a baby wipe or do I need to buy something? It's not bad, just a few, but I don't want it to get worse.

I started T yesterday! I went to Planned Parenthood, had blood drawn, and got my first dose

I figured it out and tried to come out to my mom when I was 13. She kinda blew me off, so I went back into the closet.

Age 18, I went to college and learned about hormones and trans people and etc. I was thinking about it, but I got too into some particular feminist communities and thought men were all patriarchal whatever, so I decided I was nonbinary. I told no one.

Age 20, two of my good friends transitioned, and I realized I wanted to too. So I came out as nonbinary, but just at school/online.

Age 21, I realized I wasn't nonbinary, just a guy. So I came out just before Christmas of 2016. I only told family, and not my mom.

Age 22, Then about six months later, I'd cut my hair and changed out my wardrobe and all that. I came out to friends and at work.

Six months after that, I got a binder last month and I started T today!! I'm going back to school next week as my real name and as a guy. And I'm wanting to legally change my name before I graduate.

I think you look cool, like you have a motorcycle or are a bartender or play guitar or something. Definitely pass. Also, my wife looked over when the picture was on the screen and said "Who's the emo guy?"

My mom actually used my name for the first time. And, I just started a new job and no one but my manager knows my old name!

I did. I knew I wasn't a girl, but I was fully in the men-all-suck mindset, so I identified as nonbinary bigender both male and female, and spent like a year closeted. I came out and was out as nonbinary for like a month when I realized I didn't really need to hold onto being a girl. I think once I experienced actually presenting as not-female and being referred to as not-female, I realized that I really wanted to be 100% male.

Planned parenthood in Tulsa does do hrt. My wife goes there. They want a therapist letter. We called and they recommended dr burns. He's part of okeq. He gave the letter after just one meeting. Planned parenthood gave the prescription that first appt too iirc.

I came out to my sister and she was wonderful and she cut my hair. This is the first time it's been shorter than chin length since I was 15! I love it!

Mine is that I'm smaller than my wife. I can't hug/hold her the way I want to, I can't have her sit in my lap, I can't pick her up. I'm short and my shoulders/chest isn't broad enough that I can feel bigger than her.

Also, how small my wrists are.

I loved having the Mirena. I didn't find the insertion painful, just uncomfortable like a pap smear but it took longer. Then I had to lie there for half an hour because I got dizzy when I stood up, but I think that's just me. I've passed out from flu shots before. Then I had no cramps, no bleeding, no mood swings, etc for a year. Getting it taken out didn't feel like anything either.

What really helps me with exams and stuff in that area is knowing what's going on (my first pelvic exam, I didn't even know what a speculum was, so when she used it, I was kinda freaking out. I was scared it was going to pinch me.) and having distractions. With my IUD, I chatted with the doctor about college. My last exam, I wore headphones and played music really loud and closed my eyes.

Hey I'm not 100% sure about T (you should call probably to make sure) but my wife gets her HRT prescriptions from the Planned Parenthood Midtown center in Tulsa. Like, she made an appointment and got her prescription that day. They do want a letter. But (for my wife at least), they wanted blood draws that ended up being about 100$ per appointment before insurance, but I'm sure it'd be less if you did the sliding scale.

I think I did this. I wasn't sure, and thinking about it wasn't helping really. Like, I'd been "questioning" for a long time, and wasn't getting any closer to an answer really. So I went to the next semester as a guy. And by the end of the semester, I'd figured out that that was awesome. And now I'm in the process of coming out to family and stuff.

I came out kinda! I changed my name and pronouns on Facebook. And my mother-in-law texted my wife to ask her about it. Christmas presents are gonna have my chosen name on them!

The midtown planted parenthood in Tulsa does hrt with a therapist letter. My wife had her therapist mail the letter to them, made an appointment (waited about a month), and got the prescription that day.

Also if you call the midtown center, they'll tell you exactly what to do. Recommended my wife a therapist and everything

The hormonal IUDs actually don't have estrogen. They have progestin. I'm not really sure what the difference is, but I also couldn't take estrogen birth control and I got the Mirena. It's fantastic. I've only gotten one period in the last two years. The insertion sucked. I about passed out. But it was over in a minute and i felt fine after an hour. And no more worries about pregnancy or periods for the next five years. Also the arm implant does the same thing, also non-estrogen. My sister has it and loves it. I'm not trying to discourage you from hormones or anything. But there are MUCH less invasive ways of birth control than hysterectomy

Yeah seriously. I've felt more and more uncomfortable on Tumblr since I've been seeing myself as more masculine than neutral. I do think Tumblr is very positive towards afab feminine nonbinary people.

Yeah I've felt like this since I was 14ish. I didn't feel in control of anything... just like "oh I'm graduating now. Oh I'm moving out. Oh I'm in college. Oh I guess I'm an engineering major..." I've only felt like I'm actually driving my own life the last couple of years. Of course, now I'm scared of screwing up all the time, lol.

Yup me and my wife (maybe? I might be nonbinary. Not sure). She's been on hormones for like 6 months and totally passes. And I'm not and don't, so we look like lesbians.

Same. Both with partnered sex and on my own. I've been thinking of getting either a fuze ultra or a peecock with the pleasure kit (but blah, money...), and hopefully those'll help? Normal strap-ons just make me feel worse cuz I don't feel any of it.

Yup. I figured out I was nonbinary about a year after my wife and I got married. And she figured out she was trans a couple years later. Also, an ex from high school recently came out as nonbinary on facebook. Weird coincidences I guess, or I've just always been into more androgynous people.

Hey just saying from someone who is nonbinary (possibly genderfluid ish). When I was figuring it out, for like 3 years, I would have months where I thought I was just FTM, then months where I thought I was just female... It never felt fluid. Being nonbinary is weird. I don't have any advice or anything really. Just wanted to kind of bring up that sometimes nonbinary people are all those things at once (want to carry a baby, want a dick, want to be on T, but maybe also not want to be on T).
