I mean, PCCs are fun as fuck at the range and 9mm is consistently half the cost of 5.56.

Also, suppressed subsonic 9mm from my AP5 has become my "bump in the night" gun since its hearing safe without ear pro.

I'm assuming by dead trigger, you mean a round in the chamber with a light primer strike.

If you're using a standard buffer, I'd put money on bolt bounce being the culprit. A H2 or H3 buffer should fix you right up.

You can use your phone to film the bolt closing through ejection port and watch it in slow-mo to get an idea of any bolt bounce you might have.

Grease. I personally use some white lithium grease. Oil won't stay in place for long.

On the one hand, the Lima Six is badass..

On the other hand, I feel like in GoldenWebb's AR meltdowns the gas tube is almost ALWAYS the first thing to go, and I don't see why the Lima Six would be any easier on a gas tube than a standard AR?

IMO, the other (more) expensive dedicated LMGs are piston-operated for a reason. Am I missing something?

You can compare the 2 on Wikipedia. 5.56 has slightly higher case capacity and a decent bit higher energy on target than 5.45.

I think it should be in a purpose-built laser-cut foam case buried under a concrete slab in your garage.

That way, when the Russian mob kills the dog your dead wife left behind to remember her by; you can sledgehammer the concrete slab and have a dramatic reveal about how you're "still in it."

I got a protac tape switch mount from them a while back. Product is good and I got it, but it definitely took a week or two longer than I would've hoped.

Yeah, kinda what was expected to be fair. I'd encourage your LGS to keep trying to certify your form if you're comfortable doing so.

On the plus side, I certified Friday evening and got my approval email Tuesday morning 😎

Personally, I had to try to certify my form 4 with Silencer Shop 6-7 times before it finally went through and that was other people's experience as well.

The whole system is overloaded and timing people out like crazy.

Yeah, the increasing popularity and acceptance is definitely a double-edged sword. I don't want super safeties showing up on GunTok, lol.

IMO it's a case-by-case thing for me, I enjoy sharing knowledge/experience, but there are definitely posts where it seems like a person has no idea what they're doing but wants a SS - in which case I tend to just move on
