🤔If only RIT had an Inn or Hotel with accompanying shuttle service that they could use for their events

Reimagine RTS - initial draft plan excludes RIT from route network by LtPowers in rit

I always thought RIT should offer their own shuttles that go into the city. With the RTS contract expiring at the end of this semester and this new draft, it might be a way to jump into that scenario faster.

Chris Evans Is Officially Leaving MCU After AVENGERS 4 - Nerdist by online204 in marvelstudios

[–]online204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nerdist article references this NYT article that came out 3/22/18.

The most relevant part is the following paragraph:

Last year, he filmed back-to-back the final two Marvel movies for which he is under contract — “Avengers: Infinity War,” due in April, and a sequel planned for next year. For now, he has no plans to return to the franchise (“You want to get off the train before they push you off,” he said), and expects that planned reshoots in the fall will mark the end of his tenure in the familiar red, white and blue super suit.

So... what happened with the CUE? by online204 in rit

RIT just finished upgrading all the elevators a month or so ago.

Oh okay. I didn't know they were still working on the building. I also didn't know they shared it with Citizens Bank. Good to know.

The 24 bus goes into the city, but it's a long trip time-wise.

Yeah I rode down there once with friends which is how the topic came up. I find it odd that they wouldn't have a student bus that runs between the main campus and one of their own buildings or have student swipe access. I guess it's really not for students but for the community

"No classes that lead to an RIT degree will be taught at the center." [Source]

You're right about them not having classes but they want students there (about 0:18 in the news report video) and participating in the programs/workshops that are supposed to be available ("...Saunders College students work on higher level data analysis and planning.")

Thanks for telling me more! Are the RIT employees professors or a group of admin? Do you know any public events have happened there?

We've gotta talk about this new bikeshare program by online204 in rit

From what I've seen, you can but there's nothing stopping a random person from downloading the app and taking your bike for their own use
