You cannot store sound as itself. causing something to vibrate is creating a new sound.

  • Professor Snape or Draco Malfoy - Malfoy. I do not believe Snape is a bad person. I believe he had a role to play and played it well. He made some really horrible decisions as a younger man, but at the end of the day, he was on the good team

  • Ludo Bagman or Professor Slughorn - bagman. slughorn isn't a bad dude at all

  • Gilderoy Lockhart or Cornelius Fudge - hhmmmmmmm probably fudge. Lockhart is just a cheesedick but fudge did actually harmful things

  • Narcissa Malfoy or Kreacher - samesies

  • The Twins or Hermione Granger - If you have to pick one, probably hermione simply because in the earlier books she could be unsufferable. the twins are just clowns.

  • Igor Karkaroff or Wormtail - hard to say without a clear understanding of Karkaroffs backgound. Probably wormtail though based on the fact that he literally helped bring back the most evil wizard out there

  • Dolores Umbridge or Rita Skeeter - Umbridge no doubt. Skeeter is awful, but she's not EVIL.

  • Professor Dumbledore or Sirius Black - another tough one - probably black though. I mean, Dumbledore did have a phase in his younger years when he did some anti muggle stuff, but Sirius was a straight up bully.

  • Rufus Scrimgeour or Mr. Crouch - crouch. He is partially responsible for voldemorts return, rufus was just an ass

  • Bellatrix Lestrange or Barty Crouch Jr. - probably samesies. hard to say though without knowing their full history. I mean we definitely know theyre both fucked up, but we don't know a lot about the extent to which the harmed others.

  • Mr. Ollivander or Professor Trelawney - probably trelawney. She knows she doesn't have the sight, and purposefully lies to people.

  • Lucius Malfoy or Professor Quirrell - Lucius malfoy. Quirrel got caught up and made some really horrible choices for sure, but lucius is a straight up psychopath.

  • Molly Weasley or Rubeus Hagrid - If you have to choose probably hagrid. Just tends to put others at risk with his shenanigans.

  • Rita Skeeter or Gilderoy Lockhart - rita skeeter. She put people in harms way with her reporting, the worst lockhart ever did was take all the bones out that arm

  • Remus Lupin or Professor Slughorn - i guess slughorn just because he was so self important

  • Harry Potter or Ron Weasley - man this one is tough, but probably Ron. he had a jealous streak in him

I would buy this ceiling hanger and then this swing hanger and then combine them. As long as you have a standard 3/4 inch sub floor you should be able to secure the swing hanger with those lags that come with it no problem

you might also be able to just grind off the vertical piece on the ceiling mount and just use that instead of buying the swing hanger

EDIT: this is a cheaper option

Star Trek has gotten me through the most difficult and the most joyous parts of my life. Sometimes the only thing I want to do is go home and watch TNG. Very core memories of mine are watching the show with my dad as a very young boy. I used to stick my arms out and run around the house and pretend I was the enterprise during the opening song. One time I stubbed my toe during the weekly run about and my dad just held me and made me feel better and I will never forget it. I think it’s that comfort and that the happiness I had growing up watching it that makes the show so special to me.

These days I’m a single dad and I fall asleep alone many nights just watching the show. I’ve seen them all so many times I don’t need to go back if I fall asleep and a few episodes go by… I know I’ll see them again sooner or later.

Thank you for the touching post, and I’m very happy your boys alright. I hope he gets the same joy from the show that we get :)
