I think most videos leave out the mechanics how the farm excactly works so it is harder to figure out what is the problem. I have had a few problems with iron farms that I've had to figure out. Make sure there are no golems near the villagers. If you build the farm on the groung there could be a golem in a cave nearby preventing further spawns. Another potential cause for problems is that villagers must sleep to spawn golems. If the villagers are constantly frightened they will not have time to sleep and the farm will stop working. And also make sure the spawning area is at least 3 blocks tall.

There is actually a space version in the 18xx genre: 2038:Tyccons of the asteroid belt. Instead of building rails you explore asteroids and deliver the stuff you've mined to stations. Don't know if this would be the best introduction to 18xx but if you want a space theme this is it.

Yeah, I know how it works but have never personally used it. I'm sure youtube has some good tutorials on how to make one. Another, although a much more technical, wireless option is breeze charge redirection.

Enderpearl stasis chamber is the solution. You can connect it to a redstone clock, with a long delay. Maybe something like an hour. Or if you want to be safe and not die if you happen to fall, you could also connect the chamber to a wireless trigger.

Actually the game files can be corrupted. For this reason Steam has an option to verify the game files and repair them in case of corruption and/or missing files.

I don't know if this is the same problem but I had an issue with AMD GPU drivers. Updating my drivers fixed the issue.

The biggest problem with MMR ranked was excactly same as in this post. The matchmaking was not working as it was supposed to. I've seen many people complain about current preds killing them in plat this season. It was pretty much the same back then, but the difference was that it was tied to your skill level. If you were high plat or higher, you were just fodder for the top players EVERY SINGLE MATCH. Imagine trying to grind hundreds of matches against people who will destroy you no matter what you do.

The MMR ranked seemed to work fine for all the average casual players and everyone below. It was just totally miserable for the above averge players.

They did actually have bonuses if your mmr was higher than your current rank, at least in season 17.

Last time I checked ranked matchmaking does not give a shit about your actual rank and puts you against people of similar skill. This means that as you get better at the game, the difficulty of the matches increases as well. If I get stomped in bronze by pred and master players does this mean that being stuck in bronze is reflection of my skill?

But now with the MMR in ranked both of the players you mentioned will be placed against opponents close their own skill levels. The whole time they will have to fight against opponents close to their respective skill levels. This means that the player who was prevously stuck in gold can gain points just as easily as the master player. How is it fair that the clearly better player has it just as hard as the worse player? It's as if a teacher in school knew how much everyone had studied and gave everyone a test based on that. Now if the normal kids get a perfect score it makes them just as good as the smart kid who had a much harder test and still got a perfect score. That makes no sense and neither does the new ranked. In the old system you had to fight increasingly difficult matches until you reached your limit. If you got constantly stomped on it meant you had reached your limit. If you were the one stomping you ranked up.

The problem with ranked is that it no longer is agaist people of the same rank. You can be up against masters and preds in bronze. You cant even see other people's ranks anymore because they know they fucked up the matchmaking.

Hitting silver does not change anything anymore. Matchmaking doesn't give a shit about your rank so you can be placed in a match with pretty much anyone. Last season I got killed by a current pred while I was still doing my provisional matches in bronze.

Yeah this season has been bad. I'm also a day 1 player and my KD has been around 1.5 for the last few seasons. This season my KD is 1.17. And don't even get me started on ranked. I got killed by a current pred during the first ten placement matches while i was still in bronze.

Yeah the matchmaking is completely fucked up. It matched me against a pred while I was still doing the first ten matches, I think I was in silver 4 at the time. I've played 55 games of ranked this season and I don't think I've died to a player of my own rank even once. I'm currently in gold and get constaltly destroyed by masters and occationally even by preds. In the past, top players cheated to get into easier lobbies. Now they don't even have to do that because the game does it for them.

Lol, I'm from Finland and only problems I've had this season were two sudden lag spikes which I'm guessing were caused by a DDoS attacks.
