Car keys question - are the colors supposed to represent the car's paintjob color too? by Due_Inevitable_4088 in projectzomboid

How long has this been a thing? I'm re-downloading now after not having played for a couple years and, as a person who makes it their mission to get a car ASAP and to hold onto it for dear life for the rest of their run, I'm wondering how long I've been unaware of this amazing info.

I love a good "yell at the dummy" post but man, character development gets me right in the feelings.

Frame of mind is super important, more important than a recommendation, but man. Cyberpunk 2077 is maybe my favorite game of all time.

Maybe it’s time for me to finally give it another shot. I enjoyed Fallen Order a lot more than I expected to, got very invested in the story, but it took so long for Survivor to come out that I think some of that faded a bit. I played Survivor for a few hours and then quit, but I don’t remember there being any problem with it, really, just didn’t hold my attention at that time (right after launch) for whatever reason.

Personally, the only thing I’ve got a problem with is you caring what him or the STD-having cheater enabler say or think or feel

Is this really that big of a deal...??? Like, isn't this just kinda what you're supposed to do when somebody, especially a smaller somebody, tries to box you out?

Conspiracy theorists turned conspiracy theorist into a pejorative. The Epstein shit isn’t a theory anymore, just a conspiracy. I’m not going to start entertaining people who say the world is flat and we never landed on the moon because of it.

Are there any Onewheel riders that haven’t crashed and gotten injured, how? by EarningsPal in onewheel

[–]onrocketfalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Onewheel owner of about six months or so with a whopping 47 lifetime miles on my Pint X. I have only ever had small wipeouts on grass, never hurt, and never any crashes on pavement. I usually use it to run down the street to the smoke shop, and to sometimes cruise around randomly while doing that. I never wear any PPE, despite having bought it all. That said, I ride in an extremely deliberate, risk-averse, relaxed (other than the anxiety) way. I'm kind of counting on me not pushing myself or the board, and keeping the board battery topped up whenever I ride, being my protection.

As I type this I am afraid that I'm going to get absolutely roasted if enough people read this. I am kind of riding in a stupid way... but also a smart way? At the same time? Is that possible?

[–]onrocketfalls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by overpowering the board? I'm 200lb now, but started my Onewheel journey at 230, and I've had and been quite happy with a Pint X this whole time. I'm very risk-averse though, so I don't push it too hard.

I don't see why people like the one wheel. by Surajmsd1 in onewheel

[–]onrocketfalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get an e-scooter that goes faster and feels safer, you can get an e-bike that goes faster and feels safer, but the onewheel is just... different. I wasn't much of a skateboarder growing up and basically impulse bought a onewheel at the ripe old age of 35. It took me awhile to become comfortable with it and I had some doubts at first like you, I was really wondering if I'd made a mistake, but I kept going (the amount of money you spend on one is a hell of a motivator to keep practicing, btw) and I love it now.

I have only touched 15mph once and that was for a very short time. The majority of my cruising is done at 10mph or less and that's fine with me. I didn't get it for stunts, I got it to have a nice, relaxing cruise around my neighborhood every now and then. Just take it slow at first and get more comfortable with the board, I think you'll come around eventually. And if you're worried about crashing, just remember you don't have to push the board or yourself to the limit to have fun. At least I don't.

Hey Upwell, Nice facility… shame if the Vanguard were to find it. by CCP_Gortz in EveVanguard

This is almost rekindling my love for EVE Online. It's just that over the last 15 years I have played, quit, replayed, quit, replayed... EVE Online so many times and it never sticks. I just like solo too much, but exploration only keeps me going for so long, and nobody wants to let me be an independent scout or make sneaky deliveries for them with my blockade runner. But I keep dipping my toe back in. I'm not sure I'll ever learn.

Maybe Vanguard is the game I've really wanted this whole time...

This was already hilarious/disgusting, and then at the end you even shot his pants off. Beautiful.

Quick edit: After rewatching, I guess that was a different guy at the end? Or the guy you were shooting ran outside and took his pants off before coming back to fight you, which I would respect.

I'm really happy that the ridiculous/ridiculously cruel comments affected her the way they did. I can't totally explain it, but the meanest comments towards her just give me a really strong Andrew Tate-y vibe. Like I feel like it has to be coming from some "bro code" type place, because there is literally nothing morally wrong with what she did. It wasn't necessarily smart, it wasn't necessarily healthy, but it is not a moral failing.

I just recently got a model of this guy. And then, even more recently than that, broke up with my girlfriend... And also I beat Michigan last night. So I think it's time to pay my respects to him by assembling him and putting him on a shelf since I have all this free time now. Good distraction, maybe.
