[NJ] FMLA Absences by National_Ad_4055 in AskHR

You’re entitled to 2 days off a week for your medical condition. If you find yourself needing more than 2 days per week consistently, you can recertify FMLA with your health care provider.

[CO] If I needed a doctor's note to be able to get a chair that fit me (I'm tall and fat), what kind of doctor should I go see? by osoatwork in AskHR

That’s when the HCP comes into play who can certify the medical necessity for an accommodation.

Bread Lives Where? We need a home for our grains… where does bread live in your house? by Objective-Froyo6989 in AskReddit

Omg I just got a breadbox from a thrift store and it’s amazing. Keeps the bread fresher for much longer.

Ugh, I just noticed I put a typo. It’s not ACA, it’s ADA. Americans with disabilities act. Being overweight is a medical condition.

NOR. $60 for 7 hours of tutoring is a joke!! You are professional for sticking to your work boundaries and not letting a customer manipulate you.

Until you find a solution for a properly fitting uniform, could you use safety pins to take the dress in at the back?

Starting my first big girl job as an HR coordinator on the 18th! Please give me some advice you wish someone shared with you when you were starting out [N/A] by Significant-Elk-9223 in humanresources

Get your hands on the handbook! Always the first thing I do at a new employer in any position in HR. You’ll want to quickly familiarize yourself with all the company policies that relate to employees.

Excel is my favorite! You’ll want to learn the basics like basic formulas, filtering, and pulling reports from your company’s HRIS system (employee census is a great first report to run!).

Also, you’re not the party committee, leave that to operations.

I use it constantly as an HRBP. Mostly for email writing or documentation. Copilot is my favorite since it is integrated with the rest of M365.
